Basically, the forestry administration has been established in the State of Perak in 1895, the governance structure is complemented in 1895. administrative structure is complemented in 1901 and headed by a Deputy Conservator of Forests (Deputy Conservator of Forest). In 1947, administration of the Perak Forestry Department has been further reinforced by the creation of the office of the Director of Forestry.
The organizational structure of the Perak State Forestry Department is divided into three (3) sections of the Division of Administration and Finance; Forest Development and Forest Operations Division. To facilitate administration, the Forest Department is divided into five (5) District Forest Administration, each headed by the District Forest Officer (PHD). Under each of the District Forest Office, there were some Renj. Forest.
JPNPk administration is divided into five (5) Administrative District Forest each subdivided into several Renj.
i) Hulu Perak - Pengkalan Hulu, Gerik I, II Gerik, Lenggong & Lawin
ii) Larut & Matang -Taiping, Kuala Sepetang, Sg. Siput, Sg. Sega & Kuala Trong.
iii) Kuala Kangsar - Simpang Lawin, Manong, Kuala, Sg. Snails & Lasah
iv) Kinta / Manjung - Batu Gajah (North), Batu Gajah (South), Beruas & Lumut (Renj Small)
v) Perak Selatan - Bidor / Tapah, Slim River & Teluk Intan (Renj Small)
